Joslyn is not only a pitcher as she has played primarily second base, but everywhere in the infield besides catcher.
Joslyn was recruited while playing for her travel team, The Lady Aces, in the midst of Covid-19. She signed with Southwestern Oregon Community College to play in the NWAC in 2021. After a successful pitching season of 10-2 and a batting average of .429, she was rewarded with Second Team All-Conference Pitcher. Ultimately, she decided to transfer closer to her family to Santa Barbara City College. At Santa Barbara City College, Joslyn earned a primary spot pitching as well as being team captain, with 114.1 innings and 93 strikeouts with a 2.94 ERA. Their team broke their school’s record of winning ten straight games to start their season, but after many 1-run game losses, Joslyn’s pitching record ended at 12-7. Joslyn threw two no-hitters during her time in Santa Barbara and was awarded First Team All-Conference Pitcher. She then graduated from the City College with her Associate’s Degree, pursuing Education.
Joslyn was then recruited to play at Lane College, an NCAA Division ll school in Jackson, Tennessee. She primarily played 1st and 2nd base here, with a batting average of .350. She had several hits in the SIAC Championship tournament to bring their team to wins, but they ultimately were runner-up. After enjoying her time in Tennessee, she wanted to focus more on her education and be in a more family-friendly environment. She then transferred to Boise State University where she is currently studying to become a teacher. She is still playing for the BSU club softball team.
Joslyn is very passionate about giving lessons and working with girls to help their mental as well as physical game. She focuses on pitching, hitting, and infield.
