Orv Franchuk is currently retired after spending over 28 years in professional baseball as a manager, hitting coach, hitting coordinator, catching coordinator and scout. Prior to his retirement he worked for the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, Houston Astros, Boston Red Sox, Oakland A’s, Los Angeles Angels and Cincinnati Reds. Franchuk was a member of the 2004 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox. Orv’s education includes a BS degree from Pepperdine University and a MA degree from California State University at Long Beach in Education.
Orv now lives in Meridian, ID with his wife Susan after spending over 20 years in Arizona.
