My name is Sam Wong, I attended Capital High School where I won a state championship in 2014 pitching and playing first base. I received first team all conference awards both for first base and as a starting pitcher. From there, I attended treasure valley community college specializing in pitching. Receiving 2nd team all region as a freshman and first team all region as a sophomore. Both years at TVCC my team made an appearance in the NWACC championships. From there I was able to receive a scholarship to play at Lewis-Clark State University where I was able to be a part of a national championship team. I was never a guy who naturally was a hard thrower so for me, my success came from being able to develop consistent off speed pitches and locate my fastball in and out. I have had a lot of great coaches over my years of playing and want to pass along the things I’ve learned to help kids grow and develop both as baseball players and as young men.
